This is an upgrade kit and not a full version of the software do not buy this unless you have any of the previous versions mentioned above. Returns cannot be accepted for software that has been opened and the security seal broken or installation attempted unless the software is faulty.

USB Dongle

Now that memory cards are a thing of the past Brother has replaced the card reader/writer with a USB dongle which you will need to have this plugged into a USB port for the program to run on your Windows PC. It's a lot more convenient than the writer box and the dongle also has the installation software on there too, so you don't need to install from a CD! If you still need your card reader/writer your existing one will be updated to work with Version 10.
 

Select your fabric type
 

Being able to select your fabric type in the software is a great advantage because the software will adjust the design automatically for optimum results. This helps to eliminate outlines being out of registration and adds undersewing for extra stability where needed. There's also a suggestion for the kind of stabiliser you might use.
 

Easier importing from the design library
 

Quick and easy access to saved designs, text and shapes for importing into the Layout and Editing screen. PE Design Version 10 is even quicker and simpler to use, building on the fantastic changes they made to dramatically improve the program from version 8 to NEXT.
 

Use new Guidelines for accurate positioning

Setting up guidelines will be a big help for positioning and aligning various elements of your designs.

Switch Objects off and on
 

Sometimes it isn't easy to see the part of the design you want to edit. By switching on and off sections of overlapping stitches you can now easily adjust and edit in greater detail.
 

Two new stitch types
 

How cool are these two new stitch styles. Create a crochet effect with chain stitch outlines - fantastic! Netfill can be used in your region settings. In the stitched-out samples below you can also see the improvements to the density settings of Photostitch.
