Delivery

Orders will be processed as quickly as we can and most orders received before 12 noon go out the same day. We would appreciate your understanding if pressures on the delivery drivers and postal service cause delays. Online orders will receive confirmation of dispatch so you should know when your order is on its way.

Free UK Delivery on Orders over £35

We do not supply products internationally or the Channel Islands - Our service covers addresses with a UK Postcode* only and off-shore destinations may incur extra charges, we will contact you if so.

UK Standard Deliveries are sent using Royal Mail first class, with estimated delivery times of 1-3 working days. 

PLEASE NOTE: NEXT WORKING DAY delivery is NOT GUARANTEED due to COVID or driver shortages and does not include Saturday/Sunday, Good Friday and Bank Holidays. 

For products ordered after 12 noon on Friday a Next Working Day delivery will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

A signature is required to receive a Next Working Day delivery which should arrive before 4 pm.

Machines: Free courier delivery

Lords Sewing offer a personal demonstration and quality service to customers at Oswaldtwistle Mills and we attempt to offer a personal mail-order service for machines available on-line and by telephone. Postage/Carriage for these items are free of charge.

**Machines from stock are sent overnight for Next Working Day delivery in most instances if ordered before noon. Some models of machines have to be ordered by us from Brother on your behalf due to supply shortages which will then be sent to you when we have received your product on a Next Working Day service (at no cost) by arrangement at your convenience. 

Brother XP3 and PR models have a 5 to 7 day lead time due to their size and weight.

For Scottish Highlands we can only supply new machines over £300 in value. We currently don't deliver machines to Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland or Overseas.

Accessories and Consumables

We will attempt to send out your order on the same day if received by us before 12 noon. Small, letter-size packets are sent First Class and should arrive within 1-3 working days. Heavier or expensive items may be sent via Next Working Day Courier and require a signature. Outlying areas need to allow for slightly longer delivery times.

Horn Cabinets

Free delivery by Horn themselves to most addresses. Please see details on every cabinet's info page when browsing.

General

We try to carry good stocks but sometimes items are temporarily unavailable. We would like to contact you if delays are likely so please include your telephone number when ordering.

Where you return FAULTY Products we will pay for the delivery of any repaired or replacement Products to you and will, where you have returned Products to us, reimburse your reasonable postage costs in returning the Products. We will not be liable for any delivery costs where you are not entitled to return the Products to us under these conditions or by law. Software, Memory Cards, Design CDs must be unopened and any security seals and/or shrink-wrap must be intact. Please read our 14-day money back guarantee below.

You will need to call us on 01254 389171 for authorisation to return the Products.

14-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: If you wish to cancel your order or return the products you must let us know as soon as possible by phone on 01254 389171 or email to authorise a return. Products must be returned within 14 days for us to enable a speedy refund.

With the exception of items that were delivered and found to be damaged or faulty, products being returned for a refund must be unused. They must also be returned in their original packaging and in new condition (unused and in the case of software, unopened) to our address above.

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the Products to us unless we delivered the items to you in error or the Products are faulty. For your protection, we recommend that a recorded delivery service is used and adequate insurance for the Product value.
