A very useful size, especially for quilting designs which are quite often square or circular, this is 150mm x 150mm (6in x 6in).

NV4000/4000D owners need to download the firmware and update your machine so that it recognises the frame. First, check your machine to see which version you have (in the machine settings next to the stitch count). Then click here to go to the Brother site. Just select your computer operating system (ie Windows 7 or 8 or XP etc), select Multilingual and then Search. This will take you to the download page where you then select either 2.05, 3.21 or 4.11 depending on whether your machine is a ver 2, 3 or 4. Follow the instructions to update (which are also in your manual).

NV5000 owners need to download the firmware and update your machine so that it recognises the frame here. Just select your operating system (ie Windows 7 or 8 or XP etc), select Multilingual and then Search. This will take you to the correct download, Ver 1.01. Follow the instructions to update (which are also in your manual).

NV1/NV1e owners need to download the firmware and update your machine so that it recognises the frame. If your machine firmware is less than 3.20 then you can obtain the download here. Just select your operating system (ie Windows 7 or 8 or XP etc), select Multilingual and then Search. This will take you to the latest download. Follow the instructions to update (which are also in your manual).

V3, V5, V7, NV800, NV2600 owners can just buy the frame and your machine will recognise it. No download necessary.
